Recap: New Manchester Jaguar vs. Newnan Cougars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Paulding, the New Manchester Jaguar were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Newnan by a score of 25-13. For New Manchester, this counts as revenge for the 31-6 loss Newnan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
New Manchester's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Khilee White, who picked up 169 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Emanuel Logan was another key contributor, throwing for 164 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Newnan's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Gus Anderson, who picked up 138 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Hayes Maginnis who threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Anderson was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 64 yards.
New Manchester's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Newnan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
New Manchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Newnan also has no future games currently scheduled.
