Softball Game Preview: Winnebago Lutheran Academy Vikings vs. Laconia Spartans

The Winnebago Lutheran Academy Vikings will face off against the Laconia Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winnebago Lutheran Academy's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four games, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since May 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Mayville by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laconia). They never let Omro get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Laconia, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
