The Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 47-25 defeat at the hands of Bloomfield. Chambers/Wheeler Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Chambers/Wheeler Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brianna Klabenes. Despite the final result, she scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Madison Abbenhaus continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bloomfield, scoring 24 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Abbenhaus has scored at least a third of Bloomfield's points. Another player making a difference was Kora Poppe, who scored nine points.

Chambers/Wheeler Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bloomfield, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Chambers/Wheeler Central will head out on the road to face off against Niobrara/Verdigre on Tuesday. One thing working in Niobrara/Verdigre's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Bloomfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Mary's at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Mary's presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bloomfield in Nebraska (St. Mary's is ranked 40th, while Bloomfield is ranked 189th).
