Football Recap: Appomattox County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Appomattox County came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 42-14 loss at the hands of the Heritage Pioneers. The Raiders have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

David Bradley had a dynamite game For Heritage., rushing for 184 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Bradley a new career-high. Tyler Harless was another key rusher, rushing for 79 yards and one TD.

Appomattox County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Heritage, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Appomattox County will square off against Buckingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage, they will challenge Glass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Pioneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
