Mabton took a six-goal loss the last time they faced off against Walla Walla Valley Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings skirted past the Knights 2-1. This was payback for Mabton, who suffered a 6-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Mabton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Walla Walla Valley Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Mabton and Walla Walla Valley Academy will both be playing St. George's the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will head out to face the Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Vikings will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
