Van Meter won the last time they faced Gilbert and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Tigers since July 10, 2019.

The victory got Van Meter back to even at 2-2. As for Gilbert, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
