Atchison has gone a perfect 10-0 against Wyandotte recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Phoenix are taking a road trip to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Atchison will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Atchison's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Harmon 12-0. The Phoenix might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

Kolten Bonnel made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Yogi Purdy was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Leighton Boldridge was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
Wyandotte not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 31st (when they won 17-0). They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over Schlagle. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Stallions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
The team relied heavily on Alan Perez, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacob Mascorro, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Atchison's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Wyandotte, their record is now 6-12.
Atchison took their win against Wyandotte in their previous matchup on April 8th by a conclusive 14-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Phoenix since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
