Basketball Recap: Beaver Dam Comes Up Short

Beaver Dam pushed their score to 52 the last time they played Founders Classical Academy, but on Saturday they couldn't quite do it again. The Beaver Dam Diamondback were outmatched by the Founders Classical Academy Centurions and fell 41-12. The matchup marked the Diamondback's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Founders Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adam Bruning, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrik Butler, who earned nine points.

Beaver Dam's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Founders Classical Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Beaver Dam and Fredonia will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Founders Classical Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 34-15 victory against McDermitt on the 14th.
