Volleyball Game Preview: Pace Patriots vs. Navarre Raiders

The Pace Patriots will head out on the road to square off against the Navarre Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Pace came up short against Gulf Breeze and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 22-25, 25-10.

Pace's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lydia Ulmer, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Kiera Beckham, who had 17 assists and three digs.

Meanwhile, Navarre beat Milton 3-1 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

While Navarre might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Milton scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21.

Pace now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Navarre, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Pace came out on top in a nail-biter against Navarre in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
