Baseball Recap: Triton Snags 14th Victory in Last 17 Games

Triton extended their postseason success on Saturday against South Central. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Satellites, sneaking past 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Braxton Kaufman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Triton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Bingamon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Triton is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for South Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-16.

As of now, neither Triton nor the Satellites have any future games scheduled.
