Bucksport scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Foxcroft, 13-0. At the time, the Ponies were ranked 11th in the state, while the Golden Bucks were 48th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Foxcroft, who took down 11th ranked Foxcroft, 13-0. Matthew Stewart threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Johnathan Santiago was the most productive running back in C Little Ten this week. He ran for 204 yards on 19 carries as Maine Central Institute defeated Danny White's team. Eric Hathaway also contributed to the rushing game with three yards on the ground.
Cyr was the best wideout in the league this week as the Golden Bucks topped the Ponies. Cyr tallied four receptions for 63 yards. Josh Gray helped Bucksport's passing attack out by catching three balls for 29 yards.
Bucksport's Stewart and Gray have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Stewart has thrown for 652 yards this season, while Gray, a 5-foot-5 receiver, has 26 catches for 350 yards. Santiago from the Huskies leads the league in rushing with 835 yards.
The top two teams in C Little Ten will face off this week when first place Orono takes on second place Bapst. Orono defeated Stearns last week, while Bapst topped Ellsworth.
The Riots were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in the league. Earlier in the week, Orono triumphed over the Minutemen 52-12.
