Basketball Recap: Warren Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

If Stockton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Warren, they should've done a better job of containing Treyton Pafford. The Warren Warriors walked away with a 55-48 victory over the Stockton Blackhawks on Friday thanks in part to Pafford, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Beau Podnar was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five boards and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Warren has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Stockton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Warren wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 88-64 win against Benton on the 1st. As for Stockton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-28 defeat against Amboy on the 1st.
