Volleyball Recap: Hillsboro Starts Season with Victory Against Metro-East Lutheran + How To Watch

Hillsboro had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Metro-East Lutheran Knights by a score of 2-0 on Monday.

Hillsboro never let Metro-East Lutheran on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22.

Hillsboro found their leader in freshman Bailey Chappelear, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Coming up, Hillsboro is taking a road trip to challenge Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Metro-East Lutheran, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Collinsville on the 26th.
