Softball Recap: Walt Whitman Takes a Loss

Walt Whitman fell victim to West Babylon and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Eagles. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Walt Whitman now has a losing record of 6-7. As for West Babylon, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walt Whitman will welcome Lindenhurst at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Babylon, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Deer Park at 4:00 p.m.
