LaMoure/Litchville-Marion extended the longest winning streak in 9-Man Region 1 (9 Man) this week by beating Sargent Central, 50-20. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Loboes.
Edgeley/Kulm suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after falling to South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley]. The Rebels had been ranked 25th, but fell to 26 following the defeat.
Richland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Colts feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matthew Workin has thrown for 166 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Kayne Griffith has eight catches for 162 yards. Griffith leads the league in rushing with 2283 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Badgers and Hankinson. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] comes into the matchup ranked fourth in the state, while the Pirates ranks ninth.
Wyndmere/Lidgerwood took down Strasburg/Zeeland 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
