Softball Recap: Tooele Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Tooele's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Mountain Ridge Sentinels on Tuesday. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tooele's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Mountain Ridge, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tooele will challenge West Jordan at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain Ridge, they will take on Wasatch at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wasps have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something the Sentinels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
