On Saturday, Bearden faced Morristown-Hamblen East in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Bearden Bulldogs came out on top against the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes by a score of 59-52. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 64-52 victory back in February.

Despite the loss, Morristown-Hamblen East still got an impressive performance from Harmony Sullivan, who shot 6-for-8 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 31 points and 11 boards. Those 31 points gave Sullivan a new career-high. Hannah Hall was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Bearden is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-5 record this season. Morristown-Hamblen East's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 28-7.
