With a playoff win on the line, Hoosac Valley rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 52-40 win over the Douglas Tigers. The victory was familiar territory for the Hurricanes, who have now won 15 contests in a row.

Hoosac Valley pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Douglas, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.
