They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 67-63 W against the Calipatria Hornets. This was a revenge game for the Scots: when they faced off against the Hornets back in January, they had to take a 58-51 loss.

Vincent Memorial's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gael Villavicencio, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Villavicencio has become a key player for Vincent Memorial: the team is 9-2 when he posts at least eight rebounds, but 5-6 otherwise. JoseCarlos Acosta was another key player, going 7-for-17 to rack up 18 points and seven boards.

Vincent Memorial's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games.
