Diego Deluna put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Deluna's strong effort led Pittsburg over Antioch and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
