Volleyball Recap: Brunswick Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Strongsville, Brunswick was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Medina Battling Bees by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Battling Bees: they've now won three in a row.

Brunswick walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 26-24, 21-25, 25-22.

Jarrod Delattre paced Brunswick's offense, picking up 25 kills. Delattre got some help from Nathan Frick and his 32 assists. Delattre also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jonah Kilo, racking up two apiece.

Brunswick's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. As for Medina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Brunswick will take on rival Cleveland Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Medina is set to square off against their familiar foe Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
