Riverside dropped down to 8-2 on Friday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins. They lost 40-14 to the Lackawanna Trail Lions. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Lackawanna Trail, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Isaac Ryon, who rushed for 370 yards and five scores on only 13 carries. Those 370 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will host Dunmore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Bucks have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. As for Lackawanna Trail, they will take on Nativity BVM at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Green Wave's rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
