Flag Football Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the West Park Panthers 54-14. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 487th, while the Panthers are ranked 14th).

Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for West Park, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cordova will take on McClatchy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this season, so the Lancers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for West Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 5.4, the Pacers 10.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
