Preview: Hotchkiss vs. Grand Valley
Grand Valley (2-4) and Hotchkiss (2-3) take on one another this Friday at 7:00 PM on Grand Valley's home turf. Grand Valley might be a bit distressed seeing as how its point totals have been consistently dropping over the past three games.
Grand Valley was crushed by Meeker 34 - 7 last week.
As for Hotchkiss, it finished a few points shy of Paonia last week, taking a 28 - 21 hit to the loss column. Senior Colton Peebles didn't go down without a fight, though. He put up some defensive resistance with 14 tackles. Peebles has been a consistent playmaker for Hotchkiss as this was the 3rd good game in a row from him.
The last time they met, Grand Valley took down Hotchkiss 36 - 19. Grand Valley was able to move the ball a lot more (328 yards compared to 137 yards), a gap Hotchkiss will be looking to close this time around. Will Grand Valley come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
