Basketball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale lost against Banks back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Riverdale Mavericks lost to the Banks Braves on the road by a 50-36 margin.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Banks, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverdale will host Neah-Kah-Nie at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Riverdale is facing Neah-Kah-Nie at the right time seeing as Neah-Kah-Nie is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Banks, they will be playing at home against Warrenton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
