Volleyball Recap: Manti Comes Up Short

Manti lost against Union back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Templars came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-14.

Manti's offense was headlined by Addison Howell and Kenzie Distefano, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Charlotte Chase and her eight assists. Howell and Distefano didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Manti has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Union, they pushed their record up to 9-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Manti wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Carbon on the 25th. As for Union, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Altamont on the 25th.
