Strom Thurmond had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 48-36 win over the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 26-19 back in January.

Strom Thurmond is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points per game. As for Batesburg-Leesville, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.
