St. Joseph has gone a perfect 6-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bears will welcome the Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Wednesday, St. Joseph came up short against Gull Lake and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, St. Joseph can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Gull Lake are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Kalamazoo Central.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Everything went St. Joseph's way against Central in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as St. Joseph made off with an 8-0 victory. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
