It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Williams can now relate to. They lost 19-3 to the Terry Sanford Bulldogs on Friday.

Williams saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dan Mahan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

On Terry Sanford's side, Ethan Nobles made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching an inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Nobles has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Nobles was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
