Colony faced Kodiak in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Colony saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaidence Browning, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Colony's loss dropped their record down to 16-5-1. As for Kodiak, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colony will face off against Wasilla at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kodiak, they will take on Palmer on Friday.
