Baseball Recap: Fort Knox Takes a Loss

Fort Knox lost against North Hardin back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Trojans, falling 10-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eli Ortega was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Fort Knox's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for North Hardin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Coming up, Fort Knox will look to defend their home field on Thursday against John Hardin at 5:30 p.m. The Eagles are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for North Hardin, they will venture away from home to square off against North Bullitt at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
