Volleyball Recap: Kira Van Deusen's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jamestown over Grafton

Jamestown and Grafton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Jamestown had to settle for second. They came up short against the Clippers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Clippers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in October.

Jamestown's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kira Van Deusen, who had nine digs and two assists.

Grafton found their leader in sophomore Claire Choi, who had nine digs and eight assists.

Jamestown's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Grafton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.

As of now, neither Jamestown nor the Clippers have any future games scheduled.
