Atascocita waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-8, 26-28, 25-6.

Jordan Morrow paced Atascocita's offense, picking up 16 kills. Morrow got some help from Gracie Williams and her 18 assists. Morrow was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the loss, Goose Creek Memorial still got an impressive performance from I'Slyn Edwards, who had 13 digs and two aces. Edwards is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.

Atascocita's record is now 25-7. As for Goose Creek Memorial, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 23-14.

Looking ahead, Atascocita will challenge Clear Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Goose Creek Memorial, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Clear Lake at 6:00 p.m.
