Soccer Recap: Alabama Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Alabama Christian Academy lost against Glenwood back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Gators by a score of 2-1. Alabama Christian Academy have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alabama Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Glenwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alabama Christian Academy will head out to face off against Wetumpka at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alabama Christian Academy are facing Wetumpka at the right time seeing as Wetumpka are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Glenwood, they will venture away from home to challenge Opelika at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Glenwood will be up against Opelika's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.07 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
