Queen's Grant extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 9-3. Everything went their way against the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots as they made off with a 75-52 win. 75 seems to be a good number for the Stallions as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Queen's Grant found their leader in sophomore Chase Smith, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 18 rebounds. Those 18 boards set a new season-high mark for Smith. The team also got some help courtesy of Bobby Montgomery III, who posted 14 points and three steals.

Queen's Grant was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Piedmont Community Charter only racked up three.

As for Piedmont Community Charter, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-2 record. The game marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was TJ Biggers, who shot 83% from the field on his way to 16 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Biggers is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Henry Peprah, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 15 points and three steals.

Queen's Grant has already played their next matchup, a 79-40 win against Sugar Creek Charter on the 12th. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-45 victory against Jackson Day on the 12th.
