Basketball Recap: Caney Takes a Loss

Caney lost against Boswell back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Caney Cougars had to suffer through a 59-31 loss at the hands of the Boswell Scorpions.

Caney has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Boswell, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Caney Cougars face off against the Coleman Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boswell, they will head out to square off against Wapanucka at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
