Volleyball Recap: Nutley Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Nutley and West Orange, and West Orange kept the tradition alive. The Maroon Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountaineers on Wednesday. The Maroon Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mountaineers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20.

Nutley's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for West Orange, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nutley will challenge Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Orange, they will welcome East Brunswick at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
