Recap: Fort Lee Bridgemen vs. Leonia Lions

The Fort Lee Bridgemen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 61-34 victory over Leonia on the road. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Fort Lee was led to victory by Guy Vickers and Devin Jang. Vickers dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds, while Jang scored 16 points along with two steals. Vickers hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Gereb, who scored ten points.

The victory (which was Fort Lee's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-13. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Leonia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Lee will take on Ramsey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Fort Lee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Leonia, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. St. Marypresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Leonia in New Jersey (St. Mary is ranked 75th, while Leonia is ranked 385th).
