Baseball Recap: Sale Creek Takes a Loss

The Sale Creek Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the Priceville Bulldogs on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sale Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Marler, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Sale Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Priceville, they moved to 7-14 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Sale Creek will welcome Howard Tech at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Howard Tech has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.5 runs per game on average), something Sale Creek will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Priceville, they will face off against Sweetwater at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sweetwater will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Priceville surely won't give up without a fight.
