Deshler entered their tilt with Athens Bible on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win didn't come easy: Athens Bible scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-17.

Olivia Adams paced Deshler's offense, picking up six kills. Adams got some help from Makayla Willingham and her 12 assists. Julia Petty and Mallie Hellums kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Deshler's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Athens Bible, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Deshler has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Belgreen on the 30th. As for Athens Bible, they will welcome Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
