Baseball Recap: Dodson Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Dodson finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They came up short against the Winnfield Tigers, falling 17-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 22-7 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dodson moved to 5-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Winnfield, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Coincidentally, Dodson and Winnfield will both be playing Calvin the next time they take the field. Dodson will host Calvin at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, while Winnfield will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
