Football Recap: Lake Dallas Falcons vs. Community Braves
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Dallas). They claimed a resounding 56-20 win over the Community Braves on the road. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by 36 points or more this season.
Thomas Adams was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also punched in a rushing score. Gavin Young was another key player, picking up 142 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Lake Dallas didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jayshon Hardimon and Toney Butler. Lake Dallas' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Community, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
