Baseball Recap: Baker's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

Baker suffered their closest defeat since March 26th on Monday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were not able to make up for their loss to the Dolphins from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The defeat snapped Baker's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-13 record. As for Gulf Shores, they pushed their record up to 18-12-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Coming up, Baker will take on Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Gulf Shores does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
