The Belleview Rattlers will look to defend their home field against the West Port Wolf Pack at 7:00 p.m. Belleview has given up an average of 32.1 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Belleview is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Mainland on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rattlers were dealt a 50-6 defeat at the hands of the Buccaneers. The Rattlers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-6.

Meanwhile, West Port lost to Forest on the road by a 34-15 margin on Friday. The Wolf Pack were down 27-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

West Port's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Belleview, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-8.

Belleview might still be hurting after the 51-27 loss they got from West Port in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Wolf Pack's Avin Pickering, who threw for 133 yards and three TDs.
