Soccer Recap: Houghton Takes a Loss

Houghton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingsford Flivvers. That's two games in a row now that Houghton have lost by exactly two goals.

Houghton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Kingsford, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Houghton has already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Sault Area on the 6th. As for Kingsford, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Seymour on the 6th.
