Soccer Game Preview: Johnson County vs. Dooly County

The Johnson County Trojans will square off against the Dooly County Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Johnson County has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with ten straight defeats, while Dooly County will come in with three straight victories.

Last Tuesday, Johnson County came up short against Hawkinsville and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Dooly County got the win against Wheeler County on Tuesday by a conclusive 6-3. The result was nothing new for Dooly County, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Dooly County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Johnson County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Johnson County suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Dooly County in their previous meeting on March 7th. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Johnson County was down 4-0.
