Volleyball Game Preview: Chapel Hill Bulldogs vs. Gilmer Buckeyes

Chapel Hill hasn't had much luck against Gilmer recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Buckeyes at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Chapel Hill fell 3-1 to Kilgore.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 23-25, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Gilmer didn't have quite enough to beat Carthage on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Gilmer actually scored more points across those five sets (104-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 9-25, 19-25, 15-10.

Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Gilmer, they now have a losing record of 14-15.
