Softball Recap: Springboro Comes Up Short

After flying high against Olentangy last Wednesday, Springboro came back down to earth. Springboro lost 9-2 to the Perry County Central Commodores on Friday.

Springboro saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bri Schul, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was Schul's first of the season. Another was Bella Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Springboro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Perry County Central, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Springboro will face off against Miamisburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Perry County Central, they will take on Leslie County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
