 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact River View can now relate to. They fell just short of the Mount View Golden Knights by a score of  8-7 on Monday. River View was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mount View apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  last Wednesday.
  Aidan Tester and  Gabe Lester stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Tester  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances, while  Lester  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 On Mount View's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Hunter Muncy, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Blake Wright, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 River View's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Mount View, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record  this season.
 As of now, neither River View nor Mount View have any future games scheduled.
