Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Hurricane Tigers, falling 56-14. The Huskies lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in August of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 56-35 score last time.

Austyn (Fath) Mcroberts was a one-man wrecking crew for Hurricane as he rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards. Dylyn Gabriel was another key player, throwing for 73 yards and three touchdowns.
